RCA Live 1 will give crowd chance to submit thier demos

Label RCA are launching a new search for musical talent with a new live event.

The RCA Live 1 is taking place atLondon's IndigO2 on May 28 with performances from The Script, Sam Beeton,SugaRush Beat Company, Sandi Thom and The Hoosiers.

However the label say they are as interested in the audience's musical attributes and will have a "demo drop" stand at the event.

Ticket holders wishing to submit their music can write their band’s URL and name.

All demos will be listened to by the RCA A&R team, and the one judged to be the best will win a day in a London recording studio with a top producer.

RCA MD Craig Logan explained: "RCA are constantly looking for great artists and great songs... We have a large and eclectic roster and we will consider music from any genre."
