The Horrors bring more mayhem to the capital

Forthcoming instore is set to be rammed

The Horrors
The Horrors are set to play a free gig at Puregroove records in London on August 2 - and they look set to repeat the chaotic scenes of their last capital show.

The band brought mayhem to the 100 Club on July 25 as fans queued around the block for nearly five hours before showtime.

Now with orders for the band's current single ’Death At The Chapel’ mounting up at Puregroove, it's expected the band's apperence there will be rammed.

“We’re selling a lot of copies of single," explained the shop's spokesperson. "The pre-orders for the single are huge. Lots of people are phoning up about the instore on the back of that,” they told NME.COM.

Because of the phenomenal demand for the single, the Puregroove advised fans to get down to the shop well ahead of the band's 6pm stage time.

“We expect a large turnout. If there are too many people we'll probably move the gig to the beer garden of a local pub,” they explained.

The Puregroove is located on 679 Holloway Road.

As previously reported in NME.COM, The Horrors are set to feature in ’Southend’s Underground’, a new exhibition by NME photographer Dean Chalkley.
