After their Halloween assault drama

The Horrors frontman Faris Badwan says being assaulted onstage in New York has not soured his opinion of the city.
The singer was attacked as the band performed at a Nylon Magazine party in New York on Halloween, but managed to emerge unscathed. But on the whole, Badwan said he enjoyed his East Coast experience.
He insisted: “The crowds were really good. The best two were when we played two in one night, in Brooklyn and New York. The crowds are slightly more reserved, not that you’d think that after Halloween.
“They are different because they're not going to know us as well as London, but we're going to get different reactions when we go to places where people haven't received us before. I'm really happy with how we went down in New York.”
Referring to reports that the venue refused to pay the band for their performance, Badwan said: “They backed down pretty quickly, even if I did destroy a $3,000 bat.
“The bat that I ripped down from the ceiling was a vintage ornamental Halloween decoration, it was most disgusting thing I'd ever seen and that was the reason for pulling it down.”
Speaking to NME.COM from LA, Badwan did admit the pace of their experience in New York had taken its toll health-wise.
He revealed: “I've got an eye infection. Last night I had to play with an eyepatch on, I couldn't even see. It was probably from staying up so late, I had about six hours sleep in three days.”
