The Horrors are set to rejoin the Shockwaves NME Awards Indie Rock Tour tonight (February 12) after missing two dates through illness.

The band were forced to drop out of the Cardiff University (February 10) and Sheffield Octagon (11) dates at the weekend after drummer Coffin Joe was ruled out due to bronchitis.

However with the drummer now recovered, the band are set to play the tour tonight at the Reading Hexagon.

Confirming the band’s resumption on the tour, the group’s spokesperson told NME.COM: “The Horrors drummer, Coffin Joe, has recovered from the bronchitis that forced the group to cancel two shows at the weekend and will join the rest of the band at their show at Reading tonight.”
