The Horrors begin mystery countdown

What could it be leading to?

The Horrors have started a mystery countdown on their website, Thehorrors.co.uk.

The countdown began today (March 10) and is set to reach zero at midnight (GMT) on the night of Monday (March 16).

No indication of what will occur or be revealed when the countdown reaches zero. However, the band are set to release a new album later this year – prompting fans to speculate as the whether the countdown could lead to the release of new music.

However, not all similar countdowns have yielded such interesting results. Last July Boc Party posted a similar countdown online only for it to reach zero then reveal a plug for a radio show.

last year they talked about doing a new website on myspace I think they even asked fans to make websites and send in and the winner website would be the new horrors website

of course Coc Party's countdown ended in disappointment, everything associated with them sucks.at least the Horrors are a good laff, though probably not much more than that.

It was a joke Thresh. A no-mark band like The Horrors trying to pull a stunt like this deserve to be ridiculed. What could they possibly be announcing? The release date of another shite album before their label drops them like a stone?

bloc party countdown ended in dissapointment? They released a new album the week that followed. The Horrors are an awful band, its all about image with them.

OMG OMG OMG *gets over excited* and SHUSH >.< to the people who are hoping for them to break up. thay are awesome. Theyre qoute thingy was "phycotic sounds for freaks and weirdo's" so leave us freaks and weirdo's to the music we'll like and we'll leave you to the music you like, geddit?
