Horrors, Edwyn Collins, Aliens to play Lounge On The Farm

Plus Cage The Elephant and Dub Pistols added to the line-up

As we took stock of 2006 and started planning the 2007 awards tour, we realised that we were probably in the midst of one of the most exciting times in music this millennium, and had too freaking many bands we wanted to send round the country. Rock and Rave were tussling for dominance so we thought, "Fuck it - let's do TWO tours." Mumm-Ra and their mascot Matthew The Duck took the legendary play-this-and-you'll-be-massive opening slot. They became the exception to the rule, but shook up the early arrivals in time for The Horrors (pictured) and their seaside goth punk with added aggro. The View brought so many choruses they only had room for one pair of jeans for the tour between them, and The Automatic were an awesome prospect to finish the crowd off, even back in the days when they were lumbered with Pennie.
The Horrors, Edwyn Collins, The Aliens and Cage The Elephant have been added to the line-up of the forthcoming Lounge On The Farm festival.

The bash is set to take place in Kent on July 10-12, with Pete Molinari, Dub Pistols, Bent and Ipso Facto are also newly-announced as set to appear.
