The Horrors' Faris Badwan is set to host an art show in Milan.

The frontman, whose art has adorned previous releases by Hatcham Social, The Charlatans and his own band The Horrors, will take his Drawing A Straight Number Nine exhibition to the Italian City with over 100 new drawings.

"What I wanted to get across with this exhibition was how much of a part of my life drawing always has been," Badwan told i-donline.com. "It invades all of my daily routine, be it in the shredded form of masking tape stuck to my walls, line-drawings on restaurant napkins or supermarket receipts, to the sketchbooks I carry with me."

He added: "It really is the one constant solid thing in my life - a stream which runs regardless of what I happen to be doing or where I am."

Badwan, a former St Martins College of Art student, has previously exhibited his work in London and Bristol.
