The Horrors, Aphex Twin, Foals for Manchester's Warehouse project

DJ Shadow, Magnetic Man and James Blake also join this year's four month bash

The Horrors, Foals and Aphex Twin have been announced for this year's Warehouse Project in Manchester.

They join The xx's Jamie XX, DJ Shadow, Calvin Harris, James Blake, Four Tet, Jay Electronica. D/R/U/G/S and Magnetic Man's Skream and Benga for the four-month long event at the Store Street venue underneath Manchester Piccadilly Train Station.

The gig run kicks off with DJ Shadow on September 17 before wrapping up on January 1, 2012.

More than 250 artists have now been confirmed for this year's festival so far, with more to be added in the coming weeks.

Last year's Warehouse Project featured performances from Kelis, MIA, Ian Brown, Doves Skream and Benga, Calvin Harris, Caribou and Delphic.

The Horrors meanwhile are set to feature on the cover of next week's issue of NME which is on UK newsstands next Tuesday (July 26) or available digitally.
