French festival announces first wave of artists

The Horrors, Christopher Owens, AlunaGeorge, and Peter Hook & The Light are some of the first acts to be announced for MIDI Festival 2013.

The French festival, which is now in its ninth year, takes place between Friday July 26 and Sunday July 28 in the medieval city of Hyeres, in the French Riviera. Other acts confirmed include AlunaGeorge, King Krule, Mount Kimbie, Mykki Blanko, Splashh, and ex WU LYF member Francis Lung.

Previous years have seen the likes of Bon Iver, R. Stevie Moore, Disclosure, SBTRKT, Primal Scream, Hudson Mohawke, Alt- J and The xx take to the stage.
