The Horrors' Tom Furse has shared two solo tracks online.

The songs, called 'Extensions' and 'I'm Going To See The Stars (Or What's Left Of The Stars..)' were posted on SoundCloud by Furse, aka Tom Cowan - pictured above with his brother, The Vaccines' Freddie Cowan - and can be heard below, via Clash.

Meanwhile, The Horrors are finally set to release their new album this year. In 2013, Josh Hayward of the band said "everything's up in the air again" after they pushed back the release of their new album. The band were set to release the follow-up to 'Skying' in autumn of last year, but told NME in July that they had decided to put out the album in 2014 instead.

The album will be the band's fourth LP and the follow-up to 2011's 'Skying'. The Horrors put in a number of festival appearances last summer, including a headline slot on The Park Stage at Glastonbury and at Truck Festival, plus appearances at Green Man and Manchester's Parklife.
