The Horrors covered Frankie Knuckles' 'Your Love' live on Radio 1 last night.

The band were in session with Huw Stephens and were invited to perform a 'wildcard' cover as well as two songs from their forthcoming album 'Luminous.' The band picked the song, by the recently deceased producer and DJ, alongside 'So Now You Know' and 'In And Out Of Sight.' Speaking prior to the performance, frontman Faris Badwan says: "This is a track that we've always loved and the man partially responsible died recently. It's a classic record, one of the best Chicago house records ever.

The Horrors were yesterday (April 23) announced as one of over 50 acts to be added to the Reading and Leeds Festivals line-up this August.

Meanwhile, US President Barack Obama recently wrote to the friends and family of Frankie Knuckles to pay tribute to the late DJ and producer. Known as the 'Godfather Of House', Knuckles was widely credited with being one of the founders of the post-disco Chicago house scene. He is believed to have died from complications with diabetes.
