The Hours to preview new songs at intimate shows

The Hours have announced three intimate gigs so they can showcase some new material live.

The band, who supported U2 at some of their summer stadium shows, will preview a series of new songs in November.

"We want to play some of the new songs we've been working on live," explained frontman Ant Genn of the dates. "We feel this is the best stuff we've ever done and we're buzzin' to get in front of people and see what they make of it. I think they're going to love it... we do!"

The Hours play:

London Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen (November 2)
Sheffield The Plug (4)
Glasgow King Tut's Wah Wah Hut (5)
