The Jesus And Mary Chain to be joined by special guest at London show

The Jesus And Mary Chain will be joined by The Lemonheads frontman Evan Dando at their forthcoming one-off London gig this autumn.

The band, who reformed earlier this year, had already announced they would play the Brixton Carling Academy on September 7. Now Dando is confirmed as their support act for the evening, when he will play a special acoustic set.

Dando said of the event: “I can’t wait – it’s a real thrill for me to play with one of my favourite bands, its going to be a ‘kin great night.”
