A new music show is due to begin on Channel 4 just months after 'Top Of The Pops' ends.
The ’Live From Abbey Road’ programme, which will air in November, will feature three acts who will be playing three songs in the historic London studios made famous by The Beatles.
The Killers and Richard Ashcroft are two of the acts confirmed to play on the show.
There will be no presenter or audience, and those taking part will have a day to record their material. Performers will be able to bring their own sound engineers for the show.
“It’s a show really produced by musicians, and they’re in their creative home of the recording studio,” series producer Michael Gelason told Music Week.
As previously reported by NME.COM, 'Top Of The Pops' is set broadcast its final show on July 30. The hour-long special will be presented by Sir Jimmy Savile, who also hosted the first show back in 1964.
