T In The Park is set to expand from a two to three-day festival this year, according to reports in Scotland.
Festival organisers are strongly rumoured to be adding a Friday line-up to the traditional Saturday and Sunday bill.
The Sunday Mail reported yesterday (February 18) that the draft blueprints would mean an expanded festival kicking off on Friday July 6.
A spokesperson for the festival declined to comment in detail on the Friday plans, but told the paper one-day tickets for Friday would not be going on sale.
The spokesperson added entertainment would be laid on for fans arriving on Friday, but refused to say if that would include music.
The promoters are staging a press conference on Thursday (February 22) to begin revealing details of the T In The Park bill.
Bands strongly tipped to play include Snow Patrol, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys and The View.
