Brandon Flowers' men do 'Romeo And Juliet'

The Killers have covered Dire Straits' ’Romeo And Juliet’.

The cover was shown on an episode of the Channel 4 series ’Live From Abbey Road’.

Frontman Brandon Flowers called the 1981 UK Top Ten single “one of the best songs I’ve ever heard”.

The show also saw the band performing versions of ’When You Were Young’ and the title track of their 2006 album ’Sam’s Town’.

Meanwhile, the band, currently on a UK tour, will release new single ’Read My Mind’ on February 26.
