Oxegen Festival 2007 has sold out in record time.

Tickets went on sale at 9am this morning (March 2) within one hour and ten minutes all the tickets sold out.

Eamonn O’ Connor the Managing Director for Ticketmaster said: “Unbelievable reaction. Oxygen is up there with the likes of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festivals. It was a lottery for tickets this morning, we could have sold three times the number such was the demand.”

The festival takes place on July 7- 8 at Punchestown Racecourse in Naas Co Kildare.

The line up features the likes of The Killers, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Kings Of Leon, The Kooks, My Chemical Romance and Bloc Party, with more artists set to be announced in the coming weeks.
