Band also confirm third album release for autumn
The Killers are set to play an exclusive gig in New York tonight (July 29).
Tickets for the gig at the city's Highline Ballroom were only made available to members of the Las Vegas quartet's fan club, The Victims, and are limited to two tickets per person.
It's widely believed The Killers will take the opportunity to preview new songs from their forthcoming third album at the gig.
NME.COM understands that the new LP is set to be released this autumn.
As previously reported, the record, the follow-up to 2006's 'Sam's Town', is currently being produced by Madonna collaborator Stuart Price, with the band reportedly hoping to finish the record before their headline appearances at Reading And Leeds Festivals (August 22-24).
