Killers and Elton John to release Christmas single

The Killers and Elton John are teaming up to release a Christmas single.

Although nothing has been recorded yet, and is subject to change, a tentative title 'Joseph, Better You Than Me' has been mentioned.

The single will be released in December, although a final release date has not been set, reports The Sun.

The track will not feature on the Las Vegas band's forthcoming third album, 'Day And Age', which is scheduled to be released on November 24.

The track will be The Killers' third festival single, after 2006's 'A Great Big Sled' and last year's 'Don't Shoot Me Santa', which were released as download charity singles.

The band have previously told NME.COM they hope to release a Christmas single annually, eventually having enough seasonal tracks for a Christmas album.

Meanwhile, today (September 23) it was announced that The Killers will play the London Royal Albert Hall on November 3.

Yeah I remember when the killers were good, yesterday and the day before that and so on. Alright there b-sides album was no belter, but there Studio Albums have been great, can't wait for this one, a christmas present I rekon, thats if I can wait.

I totallyyy agree with Sounded. Elton John is a class act whose much more famous than the kings. I hate the way only people that hate a band comment on their news. Killers are one of the biggest bands in the world! And yeah Human is reallyy unreal

Does anyone remember when the Killers were good? God, these dickeads really make my blood boil. There should be two sections to each article, one either positive or negative yet atleast respectable criticism. its a shame to hear the sad news that the killers are bulletproof, perhaps science can come up with a new solution to this problem...i think that if one of my favourite bands teamed up with elton John i would have to question their sanity...killers are mormons for fuck's sake!..why dont you read some of the shit they believe in then come back to me and look me square in the eye and CONVINCE me of their worth, or are you a god bothering ass wipe too reesboi?

A person or persons beliefs have no reflection on the music they make or whom they choose to work with. The Killers are not Mormon. If they were a Mormon band, then all of them would've been raised in the LDS Church and they would all pray every day and blah blah blah. Brandon is the only Mormon.
