The Killers have announced details of a 2009 UK and Ireland arena tour.

The Las Vegas band, who will release their third album 'Day And Age' next month, will kick off the jaunt with a date at Dublin's O2 on February 20.

The Killers will play:

Dublin O2 (February 20)
Belfast Odyssey Arena (21)
London O2 Arena (23, 24)
Birmingham LG Arena (26)
Cardiff Arena (28)
Sheffield Arena (March 2)
Nottingham Arena (3)
Aberdeen AECC Arena (5)
Glasgow SECC (6)
Newcastle Arena (7)
Manchester MEN Arena (9)

Trashy Chick I wasn't quite aware that they've become a "crap band". They've continued to steadily churn out good (if not better) music. In a world of indie pop I'd say the Killers are quite the refreshers.

trashy chick i totally agree with you, they belong in that "indie that boring couples and their boring 20 something foot on the property ladder smug bastard mates" like....it also includes MUSE, COLDPLAY and REM.....i just hope that the KINGS OF LEON dont fall into their clutches...
