The Killers, Snow Patrol, Elbow for V Festival Australia
The first bands for the 2009 event are announced

The Killers, Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs and Snow Patrol have all been announced on the bill for the third annual V Festival Australia, which will kick off in Sydney on March 28 next year.
Duffy and Louis XIV will also play the traveling festival, which include dates on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne and Perth.
More acts will be announced shortly.
Pre-sale tickets go onsale from Virgin Mobile stores on November 19 and on general sale on November 28.
The dates are as follows:
