The Killers beat Guns N' Roses to the top spot
'Day And Age' pips 'Chinese Democracy' to Number One

The Killers have beaten Guns N' Roses to the top spot in the UK album chart.
The Vegas four-piece held off the long awaited 'Chinese Democracy' to take the Number One slot for the third time with their new album 'Day And Age'.
Guns N' Roses had to make do with Number Two despite the fact it is their first album of original material in 17 years.
Kanye West also went in at Number 11 with his new LP '808s & Heartbreak' and Coldplay charted at 38 with their 'Prospekt's March' EP.
In the singles chart Take That have knocked Beyonce Knowles off the top spot, shooting straight to Number One with new single 'Greatest Day'
The victory came just a day before their new album 'The Circus' goes head to head with Britney Spears for the top spot next week.

10. Girls Aloud – 'The Promise'
