Flowers, whose debut solo album 'Flamingo' went straight in to the UK Albums Chart at Number One yesterday (September 12), told NME that he has no idea when the next Killers album is likely to be released.

"The guys in The Killers that wanna take a break are kind of vague about how long this break is gonna be," he said, before revealing why he decided to release a solo record. "I cant imagine not going onstage for two years and so, I delivered 'Flamingo'."

Despite the uncertain nature of the band at present, Flowers added that his "loyalty" still remains with The Killers, whose last album was 2008's 'Day & Age'.
