The Killers' Brandon Flowers hints at Muse collaboration

Killers frontman talks of friendship with Matt Bellamy and desire to write 'huge choruses'

Brandon Flowers says The Killers hope to collaborate with Muse.

Speaking to The Sun ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards last weekend, where both bands performed, he revealed his desire to write with Matt Bellamy and co.

Brandon said: “We’ve become good friends with Muse. We get along so well, so I’d never rule out working together. We would be trying to outdo each other. It would be spectacular, the choruses would be huge."

The Killers have also announced a Wembley stadium show in June, their biggest-ever gig. Flowers said: “We thought it was time to play Wembley, it is something we sought out." Asked if the band will be employing pyrotechnics in June, he said: “We’ll have shit going on. But it’s a fine line. When do you stop being The Killers and turn into Kiss?”

Muse, of course, were the first band to play at Wembley when the new stadium opened in 2007, releasing the concert as live album 'HAARP' a year later. In 2010, they again performed two nights at the stadium.
