The Killers have rescheduled the dates for their two recently axed Manchester shows.

The band were forced to cut their show short at the city's Arena on Tuesday (November 13) after vocal problems following a viral infection forced frontman Brandon Flowers to end the gig after four songs. The setback also resulted in the band cancelling their second show the following night (November 14).

Flowers told the crowd: "I'm sorry I've never had to do this before but we've got to stop. I can't sing… I don't know what else to tell you. I'm sorry. I know it's frustrating for you and I'm sorry. I promise that we will come back."

The shows will now take place on February 17 and 18. Tickets for the original shows remain valid for the rescheduled dates with the exception of standing tickets from the first show, which will be reissued to customers by their original ticketing agents. The band's scheduled London shows at the O2 Arena this Friday (November 16) and Saturday (November 17) will go ahead as planned.

Tickets for The Killers' forthcoming Wembley Stadium show next summer go on sale from 9am tomorrow morning (November 16). To check the availability of Killers tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
