Tickets for the first ever standalone stadium show by The Killers go onsale at 9am today.

The show takes place on June 22, 2013 at Wembley Stadium. Tickets are priced between £35 and £65.

Speaking about the show, drummer Ronnie Vannucci told NME:

It sort of feels like the full-circle moment in a way. We started out here in the UK so to come back and play Wembley, I don't know what I can say about it. Every couple of months there's something along those lines that sort of blows me out of the water. Obviously, this is the cream of the crop of dreams coming true.

On Tuesday (November 13), the Las Vegas band were forced to pull the plug on a gig at Manchester Arena when singer Brandon Flowers lost his voice. The setback also resulted in the band cancelling their second show the following night (November 14). The band took to their Facebook page to deliver an official statement, in which they quoted The Smiths' 1987 single 'I Started Something I Couldn't Finish' as well as alluding to Morrissey's 'Suedehead'. The band wrote: "Manchester, we started something we couldn't finish and we're so, so sorry."

The shows will now take place on February 17 and 18, 2013. Tickets for the original shows remain valid for the rescheduled dates with the exception of standing tickets from the first show, which will be reissued to customers by their original ticketing agents. The band's scheduled London shows at the O2 Arena this Friday (November 16) and Saturday (November 17) will go ahead as planned.
