The Killers were guest performers on the X Factor final last night (December 15).

The Las Vegas group played hit tracks 'Human' and 'Mr Brightside' during the live final at Wembley Arena in London. It was the first time the band has performed on the ITV show. You can watch amateur footage of them playing 'Human' by scrolling down the page and clicking 'play'.

The winner of the X Factor 2013 will be announced later this evening. Simon Cowell's singing competition is down to just two contestants, Nicholas McDonald and Sam Bailey, after Luke Friend was voted off the show last night following a public vote.

Tonight's concluding part of the live final shows will see performances from Elton John, Katy Perry, One Direction and Gary Barlow. It will be broadcast on ITV from 8pm.

Meanwhile, The Killers have recently unveiled the video for their Christmas single for 2013, 'Christmas in LA'. The video stars Owen Wilson and features a cameo from Harry Dean Stanton as well as an animated Warren Zevon, who appears after the track references his 1970s song 'Carmelita'. It was directed by Kelly Loosi.

For the last eight years, the band have released a festive charity single. 'Christmas in LA' was co-written with Dawes and also features vocals from Taylor Goldsmith of the band.
