And there's a tour on the way

The Kills have announced the release date of their third album ‘Midnight Boom’ will be March 18 in the US.

The duo recorded the record in Benton Harbour, MI with Spank Rock producer Alex Epton aka Armani XXXchange, and the entire record was inspired by a documentary called ‘Pizza Pizza Daddio’, which focuses on children in inner city schools in 1960s America.

To coincide with the release, band will tour North American in March 2008. Check back to NME.COM for tour dates, which will be announced shortly.
