The Kills discuss recording at Abbey Road studios

The Kills recently recorded a session at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios, which will air tomorrow night (August 14) on a US television programme.

The London-based duo recorded tracks including 'Getting Down', 'Last Day Of Magic' and 'Good Night Bad Morning' at the studio made famous by The Beatles and participated in an interview, which will air tomorrow on the Sundance Channel's 'Live From Abbey Road'.

"You go into the studio with its history in your mind," The Kills frontwoman Alison Mosshart told NME.COM. "It sounds perfect and everybody working there has a certain air about them. It's an incredible environment to work in."

Mosshart added that she felt "really honoured to be able to record some songs there. You can tell when they're making the programme it's gonna be super fucking cool."

'Live From Abbey Road' airs weekly each Thursday at 10:00pm EST/PST. Also on tonight's show are The Fratellis and Sara Bareilles.

The Kills are currently gearing up for an autumn US tour supporting The Raconteurs.
