The Kills' tour bus driver arrested Get Tickets

He turns up in Miami months after disappearing

The Kills October 2005
The Kills' former tour bus driver has been arrested in Miami.

The man, which Dade County Corrections website identifies as Brian Bereknkemper, was charged with "robbery by sudden snatching" by local police.

His arrest comes just months after the band's tour bus and driver mysteriously disappeared in October, as previously reported.

The bus was discovered abandoned in a Los Angeles parking lot a week later, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

In a posting on The Kills' MySpace blog earlier this week, the band wrote: "Hi everyone, remember that guy who stole our bus last October? Well, he's been arrested in Miami for some robbery shit, and for trying to sell public parking spaces for $5. Have a look at his mug on the Miami-Dade County jail website. Good news is, he's alive. The other good news is, he's in jail in Florida and he's bald."

Meanwhile, The Kills are preparing to embark on an extensive tour of Europe, Australia and North America this spring.
