The Kooks nearly cause ceiling collapse
Mad fans force Luke & co to go acoustic
The Kooks were forced to perform an acoustic set at a gig last night (August 23) in Blackpool, after fans’ dancing nearly caused the floor to collapse.
The audience at the Cannon And Ball show in the room below The Kooks were showered with ceiling tiles partway during the band’s set.
The band were then ushered off the stage at Blackpool's Winter Gardens, with Luke returning five minutes later to ask the audience to calm down.
They then performed an acoustic set, which included ‘Jackie Big Tits’, before playing an electric version of hit single ‘Naïve’, during which the audience again began to jump.
The band then returned to conclude with a short acoustic encore.
