Dates include a trip to Coachella

The Kooks gear up for US tour

The Kooks are set to return to the US for a spring tour.

The Brighton four-piece have lined up ten dates, kicking off with an appearance at this year's Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival on April 29.

The dates will be the band's first since their whirlwind tour of the States last October.

They will play:

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (April 29)
San Francisco Slim’s (30)
Portland Doug Fir Lounge (May 2)
Seattle Crocodile Cafe (3)
Chicago Metro (5)
Columbus The Basement (7)
Toronto Lee’s Palace (8)
New York Irving Plaza (10)
Washington DC 9:30 Club (12)
Boston Paradise Rock Club (13)


Tickets for the dates will go on sale this week.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Rage Against The Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Jesus And Mary Chain will be appearing at this year's Coachella.

Tickets for the three-day festival will go on sale this Saturday (January 27) at 10am Pacific Time.
