The Kooks to play intimate Liverpool Bandwagon gig

They follow in the footsteps of Noel Gallagher and Peter Doherty

The Kooks are to play a one-off gig at legendary Liverpool clubnight Bandwagon on April 22.

Tickets for the gig - which takes place at the Zanzibar Club - are available from Probe Records and the venue, priced at £15.

The Bandwagon was originally set up by members of Liverpool band The Bandits, and in their heyday featured gigs by the likes of Noel Gallagher, The Coral and The Libertines.

Since stopping the weekly clubnight in 2005 (due to The Bandits splitting up), the Bandwagon has returned sporadically, most recently playing host to a Pete Doherty solo gig.

After playing the Bandwagon show, The Kooks are due to continue their world tour by heading to Berlin.
