The Kooks have unveiled their comeback single 'Is It Me' - scroll down and click below to hear it.

The track is due to be released on September 4, just over a week before the Brighton band's third album 'Junk Of The Heart' hits the shelves (12).

The album, the follow-up to 2008's 'Konk', has been overseen by Beck/Air producer Tony Hoffer and was recorded in New York and London.

The LP is the band's first with new bassist Pete Denton, who has replaced founding member Max Rafferty in the group's line-up. The band have previously admitted that Rafferty left the group after struggling with drug addiction.

After playing a string of intimate fan-chosen shows earlier this year, The Kooks will play a nine-date UK tour in the autumn.

The tour kicks off at Glasgow Barrowlands on September 30 before culminating with a huge London show at O2 Academy Brixton on October 11.
