The La's set to return for more live shows with a full band
The La's have announced that they are planning to return for more live shows with a full band.

The Liverpool band have played a series of low key acoustic shows throughout the summer, the last of which will take place at Liverpool's O2 Academy on Friday (September 9).

Writing on their official Twitter page, the band wrote of their plans for more dates:

We will play the last of our stripped back sets at O2 academy in Liverpool this Friday. We would like thank everyone who has turned up over the summer to support us. We hope to be back soon with a full band.

The band, who are also confirmed to appear at this weekend's Bestival, have still no given any clear indication on who will feature in their new line-up or whether they plan to record any new material.

The La's frontman Lee Mavers made his first live appearance in over two years at Manchester's Deaf Institute under the name Lee Rude & The Velcro Underpants earlier this summer.
