Ticket News: See the Last Shadow Puppets with full orchestra this August

Alex Turner and Miles Kane warm up for their performance at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals with two dates in Oxford and Portsmouth.

The dates will be the first that The Last Shadow Puppets have played with a full orchestra.

The band play Portsmouth Guildhall on August 19 and Oxford New Theatre the following day. Tickets for the concerts, which feature NME Radar stars Ipso Facto as support, are available through Seetickets.

Biffy Clyro also warm up for this year’s Reading and Leeds festival with a date at Sheffield’s Leadmill on August 20.

In other gig news, tickets are available for R.E.M's quartet of UK gigs later this month. The US band play dates at Lancashire County Cricket Ground (Aug 24), Cardiff's Millennium Stadium (25), Southampton’s Rose Bowl (27) and London Twickenham Stadium (30). Tickets can be purchased through Seetickets.
