Pete Doherty and Carl Barat 'not working together again'

Dirty Pretty Things man says reports were wrong

Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat has rubbished reports that he and his former Libertines band-mate Pete Doherty had been working on new songs together.

A tabloid newspaper recently claimed that the duo had been writing songs for a musical they had been commissioned to write, and had written extra songs they may record themselves.

However, Barat has since told the Daily Star that the reports were not true.

"I'm too busy concentrating on my other projects," he said. "I haven't seen Pete for donkeys. The musical is off – the window closes."
