Libertines and Babyshambles poster exhibition set for London

The exhibition will be held at an old Libs haunt

A poster exhibition featuring The Libertines and Babyshambles will be staged at the Filthy McNasty's pub in north London from November 13.

The exhibition, which will feature gig posters from both Pete Doherty's bands, was compiled by collector Gary Loveridge.

Doherty used to work behind the bar at the venue, with The Libertines playing many gigs there in their early days. Watch video footage of The Libertines playing there by clicking below.

At 6pm on November 13 Alex Gold of The Wutars will play a selection of Libertines covers at the bar to launch the exhibition.

See MySpace.com/filthymcnastysofficial for venue details.

......i still do not see the appeal of either of these bands....possibley 2 of the most over-rated of all time, Pete Knoberty couldn't carry a tune in a bucket....
