The Libertines are set to announce a further reunion gig at 11am today (May 20).

The band have been posting messages to their Facebook page teasing a pending announcement. The Libertines are already playing reunion show at this year's British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, London, on July 5. It is the group’s first live performance since appearing at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2010 – see NME's video documenting that reunion below.

News of the extra show was teased this morning when the message “Who wants another gig announcement?” appeared on Facebook. This was followed five minutes later by a message saying, “11am and next gig will be revealed right here.”

Speaking to NME recently about The Libertines forthcoming show, co-frontman Pete Doherty said he was thinking about finishing off some of the band’s older material for the occasion. "We were talking about doing some new songs," he explained. "Or even better, finishing some old songs that we always knew should have been on 'Up The Bracket' if we could have been arsed. I could hum them and Carl would know about them."
