The Libertines have extended their reunion to include two shows in London in autumn 2014.

The band, who headline the British Summer Time festival in London's Hyde Park on Saturday July 5, will play two nights at London's Alexandra Palace on Saturday September 27 and Sunday September 28. Pete Doherty had told fans to watch out for 'live news' on Twitter earlier today.

Presale for the shows begins at 11pm on Saturday July 5. The band made their comeback with a pair of gigs at Glasgow's Barrowland venue last weekend.
