The Long Blondes' guitarist Dorian Cox has been rushed to the hospital and is still in critical condition, the band announced today (June 18).
Cox was taken to a Sheffield hospital after falling ill last week. As a result the band have had to cancel several upcoming European dates while he recovers.
"Dorian is improving slowly and we will keep you updated on his condition," the band said in a statement. "If you would like to leave a message on MySpace, Facebook, or through the website, we would be glad to pass them on to him when we visit."
The canceled dates are:
Istanbul, Turkey One Love Festival (June 21)
Glastonbury Festival (29)
London O2 Arena (July 3)
Milan, Italy Pop Circus (5)
Birmingham NIA (7)
Barcelona, Spain Summercase (18)
Madrid, Spain Summercase (19)
