The Longcut release double A-side

One of the tracks is a cover of a dance classic

The Longcut are set to release a new limited edition 7" double A-side single next month.

’Idiot Check’ and ’You Got The Love’ come out together on March 19. ’You Got The Love’ is a cover of The Source featuring Candi Staton Nineties dance classic.

On the cover, singer Stuart Ogilvie said: "We wanted to do it for about three years now, since I heard it in a club when I was pissed one time, but didn't get round to starting work on it till last year.

"We always wanted it to be a proper floor filler like the original, just with shouting and big fuck off guitars."
