The Maccabees and Emeli Sande have been announced as the two headline acts for the MTV Brand New For 2012 January shows at London's KOKO venue.

Following the announcement of MTV's shortlist for the most promising new acts for 2012, these shows will showcase some of the nominated acts.

On January 24, The Maccabees will share a stage with Lana Del Rey and NME Awards Show participant Charli XCX. The following evening, Emeli Sande will be supported by Delilah and another nominee, who is yet to be confirmed.

Other acts to appear on the final shortlist include Angel, Clement Marfo And The Frontline, Conor Maynard, King Charles, Lianne La Havas and Michael Kiwanuka. The list was originally announced at KOKO on December 1, where Wretch 32, Clement Marfo And The Frontline and Angel were playing a sold out show.
