The Maccabees to perform at the NME Awards later this month – ticket details

It's also the last week for you to cast your vote for this year's awards

The Maccabees have been confirmed as one of the live performers at this year's NME Awards.

The band, who released their third album 'Given To The Wild' in January, will take to the stage to play at the ceremony at O2 Academy Brixton on February 29.

Other names announced to be performing at the ceremony include Kasabian and The Vaccines, while The Horrors and Florence And The Machine are set to perform a very special collaboration on the night.

Noel Gallagher will also perform live on the night, as well as picking up the Godlike Genius Award.

Arctic Monkeys have scored seven nominations at the bash, while the likes of Muse, Kasasbian and Florence are up for three. The Horrors, Hurts and The Vaccines are among the acts with nods in two categories.

Voting for the year's NME Awards closes on Friday (February 17), meaning this week is the last chance you have to cast your vote.
