The Maccabees, Noah And The Whale, Richard Hawley for Mencap Little Noise Sessions

Lucy Rose, Villagers, First Aid Kit will also play

The Maccabees, Noah And The Whale and Richard Hawley are among the first acts announced to play this year's Mencap Little Noise Sessions in London.

The disability charity plays host to a series of winter concerts which will take place at St John-at-Hackney Church from November 20-25, and has been curated by Mencap ambassador Jo Whiley.

Mercury-nominated singer Richard Hawley will headline Wednesday November 21, with support from First Aid Kit and King Charles while The Maccabees will be playing their Mercury-nominated album 'Given To The Wild' in its entirety on November 23. Support that night comes from James N Commons.

Noah And The Whale are set to headline the Saturday (November 24), and will be joined by Lucy Rose, Villagers and Daughter. The line-up for the opening and closing nights (Novemer 20 and 25), along with November 22, has still to be announced.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from Friday October 5, to people who have signed up to Mencap Little Noises' backstage area www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk/subscribe. Tickets will go on general sale on Monday October 8 form www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk/tickets
