The Maccabees, Bloc Party and Jake Bugg lead latest additions to Isle of Wight Festival 2013
Ellie Goulding, Blondie and Fun. also confirmed for next year's event
The event, which confirmed headline slots for both Bon Jovi and The Stone Roses last week, has announced a second raft of names for next year's event with 'Given To The Wild' stars The Maccabees leading the list of names. They will be joined on the bill by fellow new names Ellie Goulding, The Script, Paloma Faith, Fun, Happy Mondays, Imperial Teen, The Farm, Blondie and Republica.
The Maccabees and Bloc Party will both play on the festival's main stage on Saturday (June 15) night, whilst Jake Bugg will appear before The Stone Roses headline set on Friday (June 14).
Speaking about the latest additions to next year's line up, festival organiser John Giddings says: "We are proud to present some of the best new music around, together with artists who helped scope the face of modern music- it’s a stunning combination so far."
Tickets for the Isle Of Wight festival go on sale on Wednesday (November 28) at isleofwightfestival.com.
