London treated to new album preview

The Magic Numbers celebrated the upcoming release of their new album 'Those The Brokes' with an two secret shows in London today (September 28).

The first show was at The Social in central London at lunchtime.

Romeo Stodart, Michele Stodart and Angela Gannon performed four songs from their sophomore effort with just an acoustic guitar, bass and tambourine.

“We’re a bit nervous,” admitted Romeo as he opened the set with new single ‘Take A Chance’.

Other songs played included ‘You Never Had It’, ‘This Is A Song’ and ‘Slow Down’, which Romeo described as "probably our favourite on the record".

The crowd were also treated to a complete playback of the band’s second album ‘Those The Brokes’, which is released on November 6.

Then in the evening the full band played to a packed crowd, including their parents, in the Buffalo Bar in Islington.

The band treated their fans six songs from the new album - 'This Is A Song', 'You Never Had It', 'Slow Down', 'Most Of The Time', 'Let Somebody In' and 'Take A Chance'.
