MARS VOLTA TOUR OFF
The band cancel Euro shows due to illness...
The have been forced to cancel their European tour due to illness.
The band pulled out of their current jaunt when frontman Omar Rodriguez-Lopez started feeling ill.
A spokesperson for the band issued the following statement: “The regretfully announces the cancellation of the remainder of its current European tour due to health issues. Band Leader Omar Rodriguez-Lopez began experiencing abdominal pains at the tour's outset that have since become severe to the point of hampering his live performance and requiring immediate medical attention.”
Rodriguez-Lopez is now recuperating and the band hop to resuming again this autumn when they support System Of A Down on their American tour.
