The Mars Volta back in live action

The Mars Volta are to hit the road in North America in support of their new album ’Amputechture’.

The Texan duo will release the new record on September 18 as a follow-up to 2005's 'Frances The Mute'.

As previously reported by NME.COM, the band will also join the likes of The Killers and The Raconteurs at the Las Vegas festival Vegoose 2006 over the weekend of October 28-29.
