Metros kick off NME/Radio1 stage at Leeds Festival
London band open weekend with punchy punk set
The London punks were in rabble-rousing form, firing through tracks from their forthcoming debut album 'More Money Less Grief', including 'Live A Little' and 'Education Pt 2'.
The band's set went down well with a growing throng of punters in the tent, which has doubled in size and moved location on the site.
"Cor blimey, Mary," singer Saul Adamczewski chirped before 'Kreps For Christmas', before complaining that festival organisers were trying to end their set.
"They're showing us a big clock," he told the crowd, pointing backstage before the band made their exit.
